TV Show playback drops to "Up Next Screen" Too soon

I have a strange problem when playing back TV shows via plex app on my Fire TV Cube. When the episode approaches the end it drops out early to the Up Next screen where next episode is displayed. This happens on a number of episodes of a particular show but not contained to that show. eg it happens on “The Tourist Season 01”, “Bali” and “The Lost Symbol” as well as others. Most of these are downloaded from BBC iPlayer and remuxed to a smaller 720p .mp4 file.
Sometimes this happens immediately the titles appear but occasionally 3 or 4 minutes before the end. The video is still playing in the small Just Played preview

I have checked the “skip titles” setting is set to manual. The problem is you cannot view the episode again without starting from the beginning and fast forwarding to the bit you missed.
Any suggestions please

If it’s still playing, you can focus the thumbnail video with ← and then press OK to bring it to full screen again.

It is caused by an end credits marker which is set too early.
Either because the credits detections hasn’t been performed at all (so that the global default of 90% play time is used),
or because the video picture contains text very prominently during the last minutes. The automatic detection cannot distinguish perfectly between regular text and credit roll text.

You have confirmed what I found on a Reddit forum. The answer appears to be to change a setting on the server to “at final credits marker position”. This appears to have resolved the issue for me. Thanks for the tip to use the ← & OK to continue watching.
