Player Version#:FireTV device
Playback ends too soon – some credits and end of show are not displayed. The data is on the .mp4 file.
Seems to be an issue according to a variety of posts.
Is there a solution yet?
Any pointers would be appreciated.
What do you mean by “Playback ends too soon”?
Does the stream quit / cut out or does Plex e.g. skip the credits sequence?
On which player are you experiencing this and what’s your settings for the Player Experience client preferences (specifically Skip Credits and Show Up Next)?
Playback seems to stop about a minute or two prior to the end of the actual playback of the .mp4 video. The data is there in the ,mp4 since I can view it with other methods in a ‘standalone’ basis.
I am using the FireTV device that has the PLEX App embedded. It is updated to most recent Fire TV version but there is no way to single out a particular app, like PLEX, and determine its update level. Additionally there seems to be no way to interact with the PLEX player app for settings.
This shows my inexperience – my view is that I do not have access to any ‘player’ settings – they are part of the FireTV app.
BTW, worked great for the past several years, problem just started to occur.
