I’m not seeing where to view trailers for TV show seasons in certain apps (Plex Web, nVidia Shield) but I do see the option in the mobile Android app on my phone. Is there a list of compatible apps for TV show trailers?
Anyone have any insight on this?

j/k. This feature is still in-the-works and only sort of works. Roku and Android (mobile and Android TV) and maybe iOS are the only one’s I’ve seen where this sort of works.
I’ve got 250 TV shows on my Plex server. When my friends/family are browsing through it and see shows they don’t recognize (often) it’s nice to be able to play a trailer for season 1 and so on. Considering it gives you the option for it when creating a TV show library, I figure it would be available to view in all apps. I honestly can’t think of a reason why it wouldn’t be there if the content is available and linked to that library item in PMS.
Yes it’s available, but the clients need to be updated to use them. It’s just lower on the priority list since it’s not fully finished. They’ll be able to work eventually.

As a suggestion, as they are tweaking the trailer section for TV shows, can we make the trailers a little more accessible and visible?
Currently, the only place you see them is from the “Show” level of the series, but not from episodes or season level. Most of the time, users do not even navigate to the top level… they just click on the episode from the recently added or on deck. I only recently discovered the Roku app had trailers, because I seldom get to the top level of a series.

In the Android app I can see them from the season level. I’m not sure I agree that they should be visible from the episode level unless it’s only linked to episode 1.
If these are available, they are provided automatically just like movie trailers and classified as either show or season level so they will appear accordingly.
