"TV Shows" is empty

I created a TV Shows Library follwing the steps here: How to Add TV Shows to Plex - Plexopedia

Here is my tree :

And yet, I get a “TV Shows” is empty. I tried everything :

  • Scanning
  • Emptying the trash
  • Remove the files and put them back
  • Recreating the Library
  • Restarting the server
  • Trying with other TV shows

Nothing solve my problem. I can’t seem to see any tv shows in my Library.
Can someone please help me ?

Plex can be picky about naming. In your case, I would suggest that you try adding the year in parenthesis following the show name, both at the folder level and the file level. Also, I’ve found that it needs a two digit season at the season folder level.

As an example, “Joey (2004)/Season 01/Joey (2004) - s01e01 - Pilot.mkv”

I’ve done the modification and it still doesn’t work

Shut down the server and restart it.

Also, your subs won’t work. They have to be named as the media file with the language identifier. after that.

And no need to put the language in caps. Probably won’t hurt but you don’t need to.
