I have a large library. I have recently added a TV Show that has 100 Episodes in Season 1. My naming convention seems to work for the other 407 TV Shows. I think this is the first season I have had with more than 85 Episodes.
The media metadata is picked up for the first 85 Episodes and then 86 to 100 seem to not have been recognized. I have checked the naming convention and also checked it against TVDB.
Have I hit some kind of limit?
I have removed the entire season from the library and re-added it after emptying the trash and still get the same anomaly.
Any ideas?
What is the TV Show?
If i know the TV Show, ill try and test it out tonight and see if i get the same issue.
If you have a show with more than 100 episodes in a season then you need to use triple digit episode numbers for ALL the episodes in that season. Like:
“Show Name - sXXeYYY - Optional episode title”
where YYY is numbered like 001, 002, 003, … , 010, 012, 013, … , 100, 101, 102, … and so on.
You “may” get other formats to work but you are just creating potential points of failure for yourself.
If you are unsure about naming look up the show on The TVDB and follow EXACTLY how it is named there. Also be sure that the show’s folder is named using EXACTLY how the TVDB has it named.
