TV tuner hosted on seperate machine

I have a desktop PC with a HAUPPAUGE WinTV-quadHD PCI Express TV Tuner Card 1609, and DS918+ NAS that I run my Plex server on. I am wondering, what would be the best way to connect my TV tuner to my NAS, without having to buy a new USB tuner.

Worst case scenario, I will probably just get a new USB tuner that can connect directly to my NAS.

I don’t know the answer to your question, but a suggestion;

You should also consider network tv tuners, like hdhomerun. These can be plugged in to ethernet and be accessed anywhere in your network, instead of being restricted to a usb device.

This also means you can place them close to your antenna for shorter coax and potentially better signal.

Lastly, they will continue to work even if your nas or PC are down for some reason.

Thanks for the help guys, I ended up just ordering an HDHomeRun Connect Duo. Maybe I’ll just use the quad PCI tuner, if I ever end up moving my server to a desktop, or maybe I’ll see if I can sell it.
