Two lines of text for Longer Movie titles in Grid view

So I love Grid view in Plex, but realistically many movie titles are titled in a way thats like:

“Main Movie: The second part of the title”

which become:

“Main Movie: The sec…”

Instead of relegating only one line for the movie title in Grid view, why not give it two lines?
So that way the top and bottom part of a movie be shown like so:

“Main Movie:
The Second part of the title”

When I look at the margins for the text on Grid view, theres definitely space to do this. Otherwise you get tons of movie titles that just run off with the “…” because tons of movies have long names. So with movies that are in a trilogy I often just name it by the sub title name and ignore the main title even though I sort by the original main title, so it would be “the chamber of secrets” instead of “Harry potter and the chamber of secrets” and people can usually figure it out because of the movie poster but its not quite as good as a fix as I’d like.

There is a feature request for this. You should consider adding your vote.

For admin: I found two other requests for this that could be closed/redirected:

Show whole title or file name in file listings, tiled or otherwise

Word wrap titles

Although the first link is tagged with Plex Web, so it doesn’t really apply to other client types.

A minor technicality, don’t you think? The value of the change certainly applies to all apps.

Thanks I just voted on it!

I mostly use the Plex web app but I also don’t mind using the plex app for mac, and I also use plex on roku as well.
