Two titles for same movie

Hi!
So every time I create a new plex server, when the libraries are scanned for files, I get two thumbnails for the same movie. One is titled according to what the file is labeled, and the other is all caps with underscores. For example, A Bugs Life (1998) and A_BUGS_LIFE. Every time I have to go in and delete the thumbnails with all caps. Why is this happening and how do I prevent it in the future? Thanks in advance!

I guess: your movie file is in mp4 or m4v format.
And this file has embedded meta tags. And these meta tags contain the ugly title.
If you have software to edit meta tags (e.g. mp3tag on Windows),

  • put a nice (and correct) title into the Title tag
  • remove all content from the Album tag

The content of the Album tag was responsible that Plex automatically created a Collection.
