Two TV Series, Very Similar Names

I have a media naming set up for  the "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" 1955 TV series.  My Plex library section is set up for TV Shows, using the Plex Series Scanner and TheTVDB agent.

 

My problem is that Plex consistently matches newly added TV shows with "Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1985)".  I notice when I Fix Incorrect Match, the 1985 series name is listed first, followed by the 1955 series, which is what I want.  I select the 1955 series and everything is fine.

 

I can't name the folder "Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955)" because that is not the way the series is listed in TheTVDB (series ID 73614).

 

Is there some way to fix this problem other than manually fixing incorrect match as I am automatically recording two of these daily?

Actually,  "Alfred.Hitchcock.Presents.(1955)" would be valid, as 1955 is the production year & would help narrow down what show you're working with.

Just tested this myself with "Alfred.Hitchcock.Presents.(1955)" worked like a charm, found it w/o fail :)

I just realized that I was attempting to put the year in the show directory name, which caused a TVDB fail in my conversion program (MCEBuddy).  But, you've just given me an idea:  Put the year in the episode file name, which I can control, i.e.:

Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955)-S02E25-I Killed the Count (1)

I'll try it!
