typical not available outside your network question

just hoping somebody can help me out, i’ve been connecting over the internet away from home fine till just today. i have a static address set on my netgear router and have port 32400 forwarded. restarted everything at least twice and tried to re-set everything up to no avail…

enclosed my log files as well

Does http://www.canyouseeme.org/ show the port as open? Does it say fully connected under settings - https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200484543-Enabling-Remote-Access-for-a-Server ? Could you please log out and log in again on the server (under settings), it might help.

no it says my port is closed :S i use bitdefe
nder firewall and have it under the allowed rules

And the Windows firewall is turned off? Have you, for testing purpose, tried turning bitdefender off and seen if that makes any difference?

yeah windows firewall is off. temporarily turned bitdefender off too and no change… it seems like the port is being blocked but i don’t understand what’s doing it.

oookay, i think i nailed it down. rogers came over the other day to install some faster internet for my dad. i put in a router from netgear and turned theirs to bridge mode around christmas, but just took a quick look at the rogers router and it’s a newer one i guess, but it looks like the wi fi is turned on from that too again. fuckin rogers, as if it’s because they messed with my set up and gave me a double nat. god damn internet company and they have no idea what they’re even doing. anyway, you were a huge help! i’ll be fixing that tomorrow morning and i’ll let you know if i’m back up or not! thanks again!

Good to hear that you’ve found the culprit and that I was of assistance. When you’ve tested and confirmed that it works - please mark the thread as solved.
