OK, first, everything seems to be working, I’m just trying to make a change. I’d like to ‘remove’ some channels that were auto-scanned. I go into DVR settings, (Manage->LiveTV/DVR) and I go to ‘manage channels’. The web interface opens a window, and the entire pages hangs. I can’t escape out, have to reload page. I’m unable to edit my channel settings here at all.
I’m using the HD Homerun Quattro. it responds to its web interface just fine, and all the recordings I have are recording…but as some might know the Premium channels has some channels missing and my wife doesn’t realize it and records a show, and then when it fails while we’re watching TV we get 80 spam messages popping up over our show that a recording failed. (wish I could turn that off/not see it in Apple TV too) so I’d like to remove the channels.
I also have a similar issue. I tried to rescan channels to add a few and it hangs, but I can cancel the window. I took it a step further. I deleted my DVR and tried to rescan my channels, which was successful. However, I can’t add the DVR back, it says Error Communicating with provider. So I’m down to two tuners from 4. Help?
I decided Saturday was a good day to try to test out switching from my HDHomerun Connect Quatro to a Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD to see if it would work better for me on a certain channel. That was about 2 P.M. Central time. It’s now after midnight and I still haven’t been able to add the DVR back. My zip code, 35007 fails to pull the EPG data. All other zip codes in the area (Birmingham, AL) fail as well.
I even went so far as to nuke Plex completely from my server (Ubuntu 18.04). Same thing. I guess it’s a Gracenote issue, but I really can’t find any way to report it to them.
