I also had to reclaim my Plex Media Servers (docker containers running on Unraid). I immediately understood the problem and was able to reclaim Plex Media Servers without difficulty. I would not describe it as a “huge fail” but I appreciate it will probably frustrate quite a few people. I’m not going to pile-on to give Plex a hard time about this. I appreciate it is difficult to guard against all security holes (especially when there are many libraries, dependencies and even third party services to make it all work smoothly). I feel the key Plex communication to customers on this particular issue is clear, reasonable, and comprehensive – well done Plex!
