Unable to access webgui on local machine running plex media server

Server Version#: 1.41.6.9685

All of a sudden I am not able to access the Plex webgui on the computer running the server. I even went as far and completely deleting everything and resintalling but I keep getting a 404 when trying to access it via http://localhost:32400/web/index.html

This is what the log is showing after I try to access the webui

  1. verify that you have actually installed “Plex Media Server” and not just “Plex [for Windows]”
  2. verify that the server is actually started. Try and start it again using the regular Windows Start menu. Check the Plex icon in that task tray area. If it’s there, move your mouse pointer over it and see if it remains or vanishes. In the latter case, the server is for crashing some reason.
  3. go to the location of the server logs and fetch the Plex Media Server.log manually
