Unable to Airplay Synced Content from iPhone

I am unable to airplay synced content from my iPhone or iPad to my AppleTV/Samsung TV/Roku. The only way I can get synced content to play through airplay is to turn on screen mirroring, however the playback stutters using this method and means that the phone can’t be used for anything else at the same time.

I have also tried to access the content by sharing the synced content from my iPhone and trying to access through the Plex app on the Roku, but nothing ever plays.

There is no issue with airplay or sharing via Plex app for streaming content, but I would like to take my Roku with me when travelling so that I can play synced content from my iPhone to avoid streaming.
