After reinstalling the Plex Beta app and signing in I was not promoted to allow notifications. However, when I switched to a different app and then went back to Plex I had to input my pin (I hadn’t changed the settings to my liking yet) there was a slight delay before the pop up popped up and I had already tapped elsewhere. This inevitably closed the pop up immediately and now when I go to the notification settings within the app and it only has an option for “Open Device Settings.” So I have no way of having the app request permission to allow notifications. The Plex app also does not show up in the iOS Notifications settings.
So does that response mean we can expect that issue to not be fixed or changed? The reason I ask is if someone doesn’t want to allow notifications right now but would like to enable them later is the solution for them to uninstall and then reinstall? As of right now there is no way to retroactively have the app request permission to utilize notifications.
@DaveBinM I truly appreciate your willingness to help. Being that I’m using the Beta version of the app I was simply providing feedback to a potential unforeseen issue.

@DaveBinM Is there a specific way I should report issues I encounter with the Plex iOS beta app? I definitely don’t want to be spamming the forums without the required information or improper titles.
I’m finding the same on both my iPhone and iPad so it isn’t unique to you. Think the devs have either overlooked something re notifications changes in the news iOS 13 or there is a bug in the code that deals with it. either way, the should be looking into it before iOS 13 launches
