sorry it was the link to internal issue.
Honestly, I’m scared to. The original filtering bug made the app completely unusable. Sort by unwatched isn’t something I normally do so I’ll avoid this bug for now.
While consolidating the client into a single codebase is the correct approach, Plex released this to production before extensive beta testing and now they risk tarnishing the brand.
And while I’m grousing, I’m a long time happy Plex user since 2008. I have one of the old lifetime Plex Passes. Plex has been quality for almost two decades, I always recommend it to my friends. But using forums as the only way to track bugs publicly is bad full stop. Expose a real issue tracking system so you can consolidate multiple reports. You wouldn’t do that internally, it’s also a bad customer experience externally.
When I had the problem awhile back, the whole Plex App froze on me. I couldn’t do anything at all with the app so I uninstalled and reinstalled it and didn’t mess with it until an update came that said it fixed the sorting issue and it did. Maybe that could kick the issue out for you.
I did uninstall and test again.
Issue is still present.
Thats why it is still an open issue for the dev.
