Unable to browse library after filtering/sorting

filtering a library by “unwatched” then sorting by “unwatched” makes the filter controls disappear and no title is shown anymore.

This should be fixed in the latest update (2025.14)

Sadly,
The issue is still present after the upgrade to 2025.14.0

Just double checking… the previous error used to be triggered by filtering the library for anything that resulted in an empty view (e.g. filtering for „unmatched“ if all items are matched).

This is no longer causing trouble on my setup.
I’ve tried reproducing it with your exact steps… what exactly do you mean by „[then] sorting by unwatched“?

You can do sorting in the browse library.
Default sorting is by title.
Choose sorting by unwatched.
Everything disappear (filtering field, sorting field and the list)

Screenshot from my only library not sorted by unwatched:

Oh… it’s a tv show library.
Thanks for sharing.

I can confirm it is the TV shows library that Freezes

“Unwatched” should not be a sort.

Please explain

It’s a filter not a sorting.

it is listed as a Filter and a sort.

So needs to be removed from Sort

Why should we remove it from sorting?
It was there in the old application and it is pretty useful.

I watch show in order of episode remaining to watch. (Shortest show first)

So it’s from sorting that it freezes, Yes or No

Yes, its related to the sorting.
I cannot say if its freezing or erroring out (with no error displayed)

I am also having issues with filtered libraries. My issue seems to come when I mark some movies as watched and then all the movies on the screen seem to disappear and are just blank. I scroll back up and they pop up, but then disappear again when I mark things as watched.

That’s a Plex internal system to track their issues.
I don’t think it was intended to be posted publicly… as you said, we can’t access it
