Hello,
I’ve just installed plex on a synology DS413J
but i see my media on the webapp and the server is unclaimed
I saw while using the claim this server button that it return a 406 error
I tried to change dns on the NAS to google’s but it aint working still
i tried this How to Activate / Claim Plex Media Server using Putty but still nothing
i tried to created a library but i see all the moovies but cant read the file it keep spinning

That ancient version of the server is no longer functional.
Just for context… that version of Plex Media Server was released in April of 2016!
yes but it is the last vesrion supported on this NAS.
I got this nas from a friend that was using plex on it
that’s the last vesion supported on this NAS
But not lately, I presume.
You cannot use this old server version.
If you want to use the NAS for data storage, you can do so.
But as a Plex server it is unusable.
You can easily tell your Plex server on Windows to use the NAS as a media source.
