Unable to claim server - PMS Synology

Server Version#: 1.20.1.3252
Player Version#:

So i was having issues accessing Plex Media Server via web browser. It was saying i didn’t have access, and allow insecure connection, etc…

Anyway, i ended up stopping Plex Media Server, removing the perfences.xml file, removing it from my plex.app Authorised devices.

I then started PMS up with fresh preferences.xml file - i could not see the server via the GUI. However, it’s saying it’s NOT CLAIMED.

When i press Claim, nothing happens - the button appears to be loading, but ultimately it still says UNCLAIMED.

Logs below:

UPDATE:

I changed the DNS on my Synology to 1.1.1.1, and it now claimed okay…

The DNS was originally pointing to my router to perform the DNS; there’s no reason why it shouldn’t have worked, but anyway, try changing your DNS if you run into the same issue!

PS. It would be nice and useful if PMS had a troubleshooting feature for checking DNS is performing as required…
