Unable to connect securely

Server Version#: 1.40.0
Player Version#: Chrome
QNAP server, 32gb ram, Xenon processor, NVME cache. Running new QTS Hero operating system.

Hi, Plex worked flawlessly for me for about 12 years. In the last year it has been a nightmare. I eventually managed to get my QNAP NAS to get a certificate because plex doesn’t create the required folder in the new QTS Hero operating sytem, then it worked for a bit. Now I find that I have to restart the server twice a day to maybe get it to work.

I’m currently getting an “unable to connect to server name securely” in settings. Two hours ago I could launch plex locally, now when I tried I got " This site can’t be reached 192.168.1.xxx refused to connect." I just restarted the server and now I can access it and it shows up fine both locally and remotely. The issue is it only works for about 2 hours and then I get the same issues again both locally and remotely. Plex used to work flawlessly for months and now I have to restart the server every time I want to use Plex.

Will need the server logs so I can give to devs or QA folks so they can see what is going on.

I performed a full reset (factory reset) of our lab TS-h987 and installed QuTS 5.1.5

I then installed PMS 1.40.0.7775 from the downloads page.

As stated by BigWheel, we will need to see your server logs.

The best logs to collect for us are DEBUG logs, captured about 2 minutes after server start.

Given there is currently a bug in QTS which makes the PlexData share work incorrectly, If you can make a manual shared folder definition and ZIP the “Logs” directory to attach, that would also work.
