After a recent update on Plex server on PC and NAS, now, I am unable to connect from Samsung app. 3days ago I was playing movies without problems. Yesterday (27th April) I tried to run a movie but app on Samsung did not started even I had left it to try connecting for many minutes. (On iPad was run it without any problem.)
I have a Samsung UE55C8000 (2010). The app from Samsung store was version 1.019. Today, after I have tried to delete app, reinstall it, reset TV and try again, after disconnecting the @TV account from the Plex app I have tried to connect Plex app directly to server (local network, secure connection option on server disabled) but the answer was “Test faild, server is reacheable but it return Access is denied”. Than I updated the app on TV using the Sammy Widgets tool and the zip archive of app version 1.020. Than I have tried again to connect Plex app on server manually with same answer. I logged on TV with my old account (before “develop”) and try to link it with plex app using the plex credentials (checked credentials several times lol) without any success.
Any ideas what is going on and how to solve it? The new server do not recognize old apps?

After i had downgrade Plex server, I was able to manually configure the IP address and play movies on TV.
Still, the Samsung app can’t register in plex account anymore.
In the plex server folders there is one that contain .exe for all the server versions you had. Save a previous version (all to be sure), than uninstall the plex server from control panel, (not by deleting or using some fancy uninstaller), than run that version you want and you will have the old server. Check to allow unsecured connections (i had chose “preferred” option) and check to allow unsecured connection from the TV’s IP (or from the entire subnet). After that start plex app on TV and chose manual config for plex server.
I have checked any single subfolder within the plex server folder and wasn’t able to find anny other .exe file than the main .exe (1.15.4.993). Where can i find this folder with the older versions and what’s its name?
