Unable to direct play 4K files on Sony Bravia X74K

Guys I recently bought Sony TV x75l model.

I am having the same issue as you all are having. It seems that plex app is not detecting the Sony TV resolution properly.

4k via jellyfin, kodi etc works fine. Plex is having issues playing 4k via Sony TV. Very much surprised to see that developers have not done anything to fix this issue.

Server Version#: 1.32.5.7349 Player Version#: 9.29.0.3347 I recently bought a Sony TV Model: x75l 43 inch. I am not able to play any stream in 4K. If I connect my “Chromecast witho google tv” to this tv then plex woyld play 4K streams without any issues. Plex settings on Chromecast with Google TV and Sony TV are exactly same. Both are running the same version of plex client app. The same videos get played by jellyfin, vlc but via plex its not getting played. [20230815_105542] Kindly guid…
