A few days ago, my phone was still able to download movies from the media server, but now it’s no longer working. I’ve tested it with different family accounts and even tried another managed user, but no luck. iOS devices seem to be fine, but Android has been acting up for a while. Has anyone else run into this issue?
Yes, I have same problem on Android. I mark a film for download. Plex show a message that download in queue but then there is an error downloading. Don’t know why.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 and Samsung Galaxy S24Ultra. On my PC with Linux there is no problem. Problem comes with the new App.
I have found the error. My Tablet has a “ü” in the name “Jürgen”. So I rename my Tablet to “Galaxy Tab A8”. After restart the App the download is correct. I find this in my logfile: “Unexpected char 0xfc at 12 in X-Plex-Device-Name value: Tab A8 von Jürgen”,“error”:“downloadError”,“metadata”"
