Currently running Plex server on my Synology nas version 1.30.1.6550-7000
iOS Plex beta version 8.13 (4532) and iPhone 11 Pro
It hasn’t worked in quite awhile and not sure where to get assistance.
It used to sync/download if the app was running and in background or phone locked. Now will only work if app is open and then only once in a while will it work. Usually just sits somewhere between 25-50% and doesn’t change.
Not sure if there are some settings I could try changing in the server or phone?
I have never been able to download from my local server to my iPhone or iPad. Tried again last week. (I gave up on the new downloads a year ago, but check it every so often)
I see it successfully downloaded E1 and E3 but failed on E2. I’m not sure why it failed on that episode. Could be something wrong with the file. Are you able to stream this episode without problems?
So my downloads has started working at least a little more consistently after I changed under setting/downloads the video & audio quality, and download format to “original” under all of them. Don’t think I ever been in that setting page before but at least it’s working…
Now to get it back to being able to download while app in background on iOS
