Unable to edit/map Channels from tuner

Hello! I’ve set up my Live TV and DVR with a few channels mapped. When I try to go back in to map more channels (by clicking on the ‘xx enabled’ link under Channel Sources), I get the full listing and I can map the channels, but when I save it doesn’t fully work. The number on the ‘xx enabled’ updates, but the My Channels panel to the right of that doesn’t update, and the Live TV screen on the Plex Web Client (or client on my Samsung TV) doesn’t update to reflect the new channels.

I tried completely deleting the DVR and adding it again - it worked for a bit, I was able to map a few channels, but now when I try to map more channels it does the same thing. It’s like it get stuck, or doesn’t fully update to reflect the full number of channels that I have mapped.

I initially had 2 different DVRs configured, and I noticed some weirdness there too - it was getting confused between the channel guides, which led me to believe something may be wrong with the database. I followed the instructions to check the database for errors, but that didn’t fix this.

Any ideas/thoughts, or where I can look for more info? Thank you!

Actually, quick update. I scanned the database for errors again, making sure to exit the Plex server this time, and it appeared to work… but then it happened again once I mapped additional channels. Any idea what would cause this repeated issue?

Have 56 channels in my DVR/Live TV setup, tried to add 5 more (total of 61), and I see 61 enabled, but in the My Channels pane it still only shows 56. Quit PMS, repaired the DB, started up PMS again, still only 56. Refreshed the guide, and still only 56.

My Plex Media Server log files are showing some things about the EPG, but I don’t know if this is related to the number of channels not updating:

Looks like I have to try to rebuild the index multiple times to proceed. After my last update, I attempted to rebuild the index 4 times and all the channels finally showed up.

I matched 10 more channels, and it took 3 more index rebuilds for the channels to show up.

Once I have all my channels matched and active, will they disappear if the automatic guide refresh fails? Is there a way to add a channel and have it available with no guide data?

Same issue with HTTP 429’s and refreshing of guide just halts. Subsequent refreshes result in 429 and it can never get through loading the entire guide. The HTTP 429 occurs on random channels each time so eliminating a specific channel doesn’t work either.
