The guide on plex for the DVR-able channels is truncated when compared to the guide that’s directly addressable on the HDHomerun using their app. I have read that it’s an SQL issue with com.plexapp.plugins.library.db where the field “DATA” doesn’t keep each entry unique. That causes Plex to under report available channels.
A local “repair” of the DB is undone any time a guide or channel refresh is executed.
The EPG is kept in tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud-(hash).db file, if you suspect that it is corrupt it is safe to stop Plex and delete the 3 files that start with tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud*. Restart Plex and refresh the guide.
Posting your zip code would aid in determining if the EPG is missing any channels. Missing channels can be reported by using the directions posted here: Reporting Plex DVR Lineup Inaccuracies.
The date stamp on the db file reflects the last known guide refresh I did about an hour ago.
Did as recommended. Still waiting for the refresh to complete.
Refresh of guide (once complete) resulted in an entire guide of channels without the content listed. Went back and started a refresh from the setup/channels “enabler” screen and forced a refresh using the “save” there instead of the (force) update below the *DVR Settings" in the upper-level menu of the Manage screen… Waiting for the results of that now.
Number of channels may be a brain “gaseous expulsion” on my part about the difference between “potential” and “actually receivable”.
Post refresh(es) the guide for (broadcast) channels remained unpopulated. Did a complete system power cycle just to be sure and that resolved it.
