Good Morning.
I have a problem with DVR Configuration.
When I try to change the channel mapping and hit “Continue”, I get the error: “There was a problem saving your DVR. Please try again” and the mapping does not get saved/updated.
I have checked the log and I found a 500 error from the serve when the updated list is sent trough a PUT.

Following the log portion with the 500 error:

How can I fix it?

Use the Plex for Windows client or the Plex hosted web app which has the fixes https://app.plex.tv/web.

I tried already with both the apps (hosted web app and Plex for Windows), but nothing changed.
I think it’s a server related issue…

Check the Plex Media Server.log for database corruption, otherwise I would delete the DVR and set it back up.

I already tried also that.
But in the meanwhile I discovere something: if I assign 1 epg channel to 2 different channels (e.g. SD and HD version of the same channel) it doesn’t work. If I don’t do that it saves correctly.

So the question is: why is it impossible to assigne the same channel guide to 2 different live channels?
And secondly, why don’t we have a more “speaking” error description?

The Channel to EPG match has to be unique or the schedule recording would try to tune them together.

I use other DVR software where this is possible – often when a TV station has a repeater on different channel. It would be idiotic for the DVR to try to tune both channels based on the mapping to the EPG. … Oh, I guess I see now – you’re presuming that Plex would do the most idiotic thing – well, I guess that wouldn’t be the worst assumption.
