Unable to remove Plex server from account

Player Version#: Plex Web 4.94.2

There is a Plex media server that appears on the sidebar that I did not add, and that I would like to remove.

I can’t open the dropdown menu in the sidebar in order to remove it, it doesn’t show up under Authorized Devices, and I can’t select it in Settings.

Nothing shows up under Manage Library Access either.

How can I remove this server from my Plex account? Any help is appreciated.

Under Authorized Devices section (shown in screenshot), try clicking on that Red-Cross button and it should hopefully remove the server.

Thank you for the reply. The server under Authorized Devices is my own Plex server that I want to keep, but the one I want to remove isn’t there.

Oh, you meant the “Bad Server (Thailand)”, got it. Just visit https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/friends page you will need click on your Friend profile who shared the library access with you.
Click on their Profile Picture > Click “Library Access” button > Under the “You have access to:” section click on “Edit” and press on “Leave Server” button.

Yep I want to remove the Thailand server, sorry that wasn’t clear.

When I visit the page you linked, it says that I haven’t added any friends:

I see, even your Manage Library Access is also empty. I am out of ideas, hopefully experts come to the rescue now, just wait till then.

I have filed this to be looked at by the technical staff.

Hi @OttoKerner, I just want to follow up on this

It appears this is a leftover from the time when you temporarily lost your account.
The shared server has now been removed. If you reboot your clients or switch user accouts back and forth it should be gone.

Consider enabling 2FA to prevent any such incidents in the future. https://support.plex.tv/articles/two-factor-authentication/
