I originally created a Plex account#1 using email#1. I then accidentally created Plex account#2 using email#2. I deleted the Plex account#2 under email#2 using the instructions on the FAQ site. I then tried to link the google account for email#2 to the Plex account#1 but get an error saying the email is already taken. Same thing happens when I try to change my email address from email#1 to email#2. It has been weeks since I deleted the Plex account under email#2, so I am not sure why I am still getting this error. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
You will have to wait for 30 days after deleting the account, before you can re-use the email address for another Plex account.
