I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to seek assistance with an issue I’ve encountered while attempting to link the Plex skill in the Amazon Alexa app on my Android device.
Upon trying to link the Plex skill, I consistently encounter the following error message:
“Account Linking
Unable to link accounts.
Your Alexa app needs an update.
There’s a problem with the installed version of your Alexa app.
Please re-install or update the Alexa app to link your accounts.”
Despite ensuring that my Alexa app is up to date, the problem persists. I have also reached out to Amazon support regarding this matter, as it seems to be a compatibility issue between the Plex skill and the Amazon Alexa app.
I am hopeful that both the Plex and Amazon development teams can collaborate to resolve this issue. As a user who greatly values the convenience and functionality offered by both Plex and Amazon Alexa, it would be greatly appreciated if a solution could be found.
Could you please provide any guidance or assistance on how to resolve this issue? I’m eager to continue enjoying the seamless integration between Plex and Alexa.
