I am unable to link my Plex V1.10.0.1846 on a Mac with my Sony Bravia TV which has the Plex link installed, all I get when I open the app. is no content. I have finally got my Plex setup on the computer the menu on the left shows a green icon and states my plex server is “nearby” and I have all of my movies in the movie folder, assuming I have everything setup right the only thing I can think of is the 4-digit Activation Code. I don’t know if I need one or how to find it if I do need one. I have read everything I could regarding the code and have found very little on how to get it. I did read one post with the sugestion that I could cancel Plex and then sign up again and I would receive it. I am a little leery do this, but is this my only option? Thanks for any help.

The “link code” is used when you want to connect the Plex client on your TV to your Plex account (mainly for you to avoid typing a complex password with your TV remote).
That leaves us with the question: Are you logged into your Plex account within the Plex client on your TV?
As for the fix you have been reading about… you have gotten that slightly wrong. You’re not required to cancel Plex… If your Plex client fails to show the server, you might want to logout from the client, restart it and login again. That should trigger the link code process.
Thanks tom80H, I did as you suggested and logout from the client and logged back in and as you said it triggered the link code which I entered and every thing is working just great. I wish I had posted earlier, it would have saved a lot or trouble. Thanks again.
