Unable to load contents of E:\Music

I’m trying to add libraries to Plex but when I try to choose a folder I get an error that says "Unable to load contents of E:\Music. The E: is a mapped network drive on an NAS. I’m able to add other folders such as E:\Photos and E:\Videos. This used to work before I upgraded to the new server but all of a sudden I can’t access any music from this folder. Any ideas on why this is happening all of a sudden?

Use unc paths.

I tried adding the folder by using the path “\192.168.1.9\Files\Music” but I’m not getting any items added during library scan. There are two backslashes before 192 but for some reason the post isn’t showing it.

Use the host name not ip. Check you have the right permissions on the shares.

If you run the Plex server as a system service, it may run under a different Windows user account and therefore the NAS must grant this user ‘read’ rights to the share.
