Unable to Load Photo

Hi all,

I’ve browsed the forums and Google and can not find the answer to this.

My Plex server on my Nvidia Shield works in every way except displaying photos. The thumbnails are fine but the photo says “Unable to load photo”.

I would check the permissions on the Network share but I’ve no idea what user my Plex server is trying to access the files as.

I’ve tried multiple clients, an Amazon Fire TV, the client on the Shield itsself (which is also the server), the mobile client, the web client, and Plex for Android mobile.

How large is the image file? Plex has a default limit of 100MiB in order to minimize performance issues.

Way less than that. 4-5MB max. (Why do you talk Mibibytes btw :,-))

Cuz that’s what the Plex documentation says. :slight_smile: I had to look it up when I first came across it.

I believe the Plex user is just “plex.”
