I cannot get any PLEX viewer to display more than the thumbnail view of the images. WHen selecting the full image Plex shows an error on PLEX SamsungTV app, Roku and Plex web viewer.
Files are not very large and are JPG and PNG files. Images are stored on a FREENAS server and I wonder if it a permissions issue. I have no trouble browsing to the images on the network. Please help. PLEX is not useful to me if I cannot view the images. Please help me out
What does “not very large” mean? Plex has a default limit of around 100MB.
Thanks for responding. Sorry to be so vague. Other posts on this subject referred to very large files. The files I am having trouble with are 500Kb-2.4Mb. Error I get is “unable to load file”
In my experience, if it were a permissions issue, I think Plex wouldn’t see them at all, and wouldn’t even create thumbnails. But I’m not at all familiar with using an NAS.
Hopefully someone will have another idea. Sorry I can’t help.
