I have just added a new soundcard to my server and moved the GTX1050ti to a x16 slot rather than an x8 slot.
After i had done this i needed to remove and re-add the cores for each emulator as i was getting failure to load errors on any roms i tried. re-adding the cores seemed to fix the issue but the roms freeze after 1 min on SNES9x. Switched cores to bsnes-mercury-performance and seemed to resolve the issue. Getting there slowly but still the glitchy sound issue and poor performance from N64 emulator Parallel64. The screenshot is from my plex server when it is running N64 using Parallel core and playing Super Mario World 64. As you can see the server is not being overworked as utilisation is very low on everything.Only weird thing i noticed is that Plex Game Transcoder.exe is utilising BITS for some reason? Is this by design on windows?
I can’t of why it would be used, but Parsec might use it for something under the hood for networking, I’m not sure.
I was just wondering as I would have thought BITS may cause more problems than it would normally solve
