As you can see Plex is finding and matching the renamed file.
I have found a lot of errors in the com.plexapp.agents.imdb.log, but I am not sure what is causing it. That does seem to be why you are not getting metadata.
Would you follow this guide: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/202967376-Clearing-Plugin-Channel-Agent-HTTP-Caches
Then Plex Dance one of your renamed files and let me know if you are able to get metadata, posters etc. for that file, thanks.
Also, you should remove all of the .gz files from your media folders, as they are simply taking up precious resources.
Right, so over the weekend I have managed to re-name all my films correctly and re-add them all. I have figured that every 24-48 hours I need to delete “com.plexapp.agents.imdb” or it will start playing up again.
Without wasting any more of your time which I do fully appreciate the time you have given to help by the way, I think my only other option will be to start a fresh Plex, possibly a fresh Windows (At some point). There is obviously some error or corrupt file within installation or registry.
Thank you for your help
