The problem is not from Plex. It is from the shield, so they can do nothing about it.

Sorry. I was able to get into a similar situation where I had a corrupt database after starting PMS over from scratch. For me, it turned out to be a bad usb drive. I got a new usb drive and I do not see a corrupted database anymore. I was able to move my data folder over to the usb drive. Yes, I did have to format it twice like you said. I don’t know when that changed. I remember there use to be an option to just format it as external. I’ve had my PMS on the Shield running for over a week…
