I’m using plex on a “Chromecast for Google TV”. Starting last week, every time I stop playing and go back (back to the episode selection screen) I get a bottom “pop-up” message of “unable to navigate item not found plex” that stays ~7 seconds.
any idea what it means and how do I make it go away?
Joining the chorus. Just like the OP, it happens whenever we click “back”, but on the Shield for me.
This post is not tagged with “android-tv” so it’s possible the correct team isn’t seeing it. I’m going to ping @ChuckPa and @BigWheel, perhaps they can nudge this request in the correct direction?
I am on the beta and having this issue on the Nvidia Shield Pro. Just a pop-up after playing a TV episode but no problem finding items or with playback.
Fire TV Cube. Same issue for the past month. Coincides with home hub being very, very, very slow to update newly added media, and tv series episodes not updating that they’ve been played after going back to the episode list from watching an episode. The episode list does update when leaving it and coming back, though that will ALSO result in an Unable to navigate, item not found error with a lot of flashing in a second or two of the display (flashing is probably too strong a word, but it’s like the episode list is trying to refresh very quickly a lot in a short space of time).
Using 1.22.3.4392 on Synology is resulting in the same issue as above. Nvidia shield is showing up this popup after every episode i watch.
Plus, any type of media i add, does not show anymore automatically on the Home (via the web interface).
In order to display the new media i either need to refresh the page, or go out from the home (like entering in one collection) and go back to the home again, now the media will appear.
In previous version the home would automatically refresh and display the new media without doing this.
