The only solid fix to this error currently that I was able to find is completely reinstall PMS and rebuild from scratch. Considering I first reported the issue in May, I doubt we’ll ever get any formal acknowledgement or fix from PLEX

Is your P drive a USB stick or a RAM driver? In either case 4 GB is not really sufficient and it looks like permission or corrupted. Not a good practice to point Plex at the Root of any drive. If you can still access the Server Settings {wrench} Server > General , logging should only be: [image…

I agree with the above. Don’t use a recoverable drive for the transcoder folder. Plex exists these files to get created fairly quickly and your drive may be too slow. Also don’t use the root folder.

It indeed is a RAM driver and has been functioning flawlessly for years. I had even increased it to 12GB and it resulted in the same error. Are we all using a ramdisk for the transcoding? I setup ramdisk to speedup how quickly files start playing. I currently have a 4GB ram disk set. I’ve been using this for 4-5 years now..
