Despite all my films either being in .mkv's or .avi's, some files just won't play on RasPlex. How can I generate a full report on a given file's metadata so I can show you guys, to help my understand what files are and are not supported? It can be a pain sometimes going through enormous efforts getting media on my server, to later find out just when I want to watch it that it can't be played.
The error on screen typically consists of a very long 'hang' with no reaction, forcing me to pull the plug to reboot.
MediaInfo will give all the info needed, select Text Mode.
Also, you haven't stated which model Pi you have, what version of RasPlex you are using, what version Plex Media Server you are using, on what platform it is running, useful information when trying to track down issues.

I've been seeing the same issue. I'm running RC4 and I'm pretty sure these files played under RC3. I'll try to post more details when I can.
