So kind of a weird problem suddenly happened.
An episode from a tv show was suddenly unplayable in any player. Episode was listed, but when I tried to go into the episode I got error: Something went wrong. An unexpected error occurred.
Every other episode in that show and other shows worked, so I assumed the file was corrupted.
Tried to delete the episode from plex directly, but got the error: There was a problem deleting this item. Tried to delete a random other episode, this worked fine.
Then went to the physical file and deleted the file manually on my media server, refreshed plex, no change, restarted the server. File is still listed in Plex and gives the same error message.
Figured maybe something with the show had been corrupted as this only happened on this episode so I tried to delete the entire Series and Show, same error message: There was a problem deleting this item.
Any other way I try to delete and/or add the file or other episodes to this show now fails. Tried this with several other shows, works fine. This show was working fine until a few weeks ago.
Now I’m trying to locate the media and metadata in plex folders on the unraid server to delete for this specified show, but not sure how I can find this considering the files names used, no correlation as I can see.
Does anybody know how I can find the specified file on the server side under plex folder? Or is there any other solution that I might have missed?
No error messages in logs that helps.
