Unable to reach Plex after 1.42.2.10156 update

Server Version#:

|

1.42.2.10156

Player Version#:

I updated Plex Media Server for my WD mycloudex2ultra and once installed i was unable to configure the server or reach it through any any app.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the update. I have rebooted the NAS. I have rebooted the Verizon router.

What do I do to regain use of Plex?

I have had the same experience. After installing the new software which I have tried doing several times already I push configure and get an immediate 404 Not Found error saying the requested URL is not found on this server. I have been using this software for nearly 2 years without any glitches to date. I am using the Twonky Server at present which works but it is not nearly as user friend as Plex.

Lets start with a copy of your server logs

Same problem here… I pasted the server logs under.

I’m replying because I faced a similar problem. After an update I suddenly lost access via local web access. Then I was stupid and removed the WD My Cloud under ‘allowed devices’ — after that not even my server appeared. I restarted the WD My Cloud several times and uninstalled and reinstalled Plex Media Server multiple times. All without success. The solution was found on this page: https://support-de.wd.com/app/answers/detailweb/a_id/13099. You need to delete the path to Plex Media Server via SSH. It’s in German, but you can certainly translate it. I hope this helps some people. Regards, Chris

@senzia_hul those are not your server logs. See the linked article to upload the zip.
