Unable to record 'Unknown Airing'

Add me to the list as well.
I have about 8 channels that this is affecting. (Cleveland market: 19.1, 19.2, 23.1-23.6)
The guide data will be fine for those 8 channels for the next 12 hours or so, but after that everything for those channels just shows Unknown Airing.
If I do a full guide refresh, it will be fixed, but only for a few hours. Something happens in that time which causes it to revert back to Unknown Airing on these channels for anything 12 hours out.

I am also in Australia with the “unknown airing” problem. This needs to be fixed urgently. At least a way to manually set recording time like the old VCR days . It shouldn’t be that hard to set that up. i will be forced to get an Ice TV subscription in the meantime as this is useless as it is.

Plex Support Team can you please help with this issue? I can’t watch or record some of the shows I most care about

Same here in the Netherlands with Ziggo cable TV.

Might be related to plex transcoding h264 to h264. Anyway, same problem here.

I went with IceTV in the end, solved the problem. It is much better quality than gracenote. Cost is $4/month.

Yes have used IceTV before but baulked at the price but then saw that the price for using with Plex is much cheaper and worth it for the more reliable programming

Has there been any updates on this? I’m having the same problem.

Also I kept on forgetting to mention it here, but I have noticed that when using the Android APP I am able to stream the channels marked as unknown airing (something I am not able to do via the web interface), ofcourse, no recording.

Add me t the list as well In Ocala, Florida. Server runs on a MacBook Pro,. Server rev 1.15.3.876 did not fix it. It seems to affect one cannel group more than others. It also seems to affect late night time slots more than earlier. A manual reload of the EPG usually fixes it. I believe a manual refresh almost always fixes the problem for a day or two. This is the biggest problem I have Plex, it has delayed me cancelling cable since it is not reliable enough for other family members use. Running a HdHomerun Duo.

How do we escalate this so the Devs look at this? Its been going on at least 6 months for me.

Are others seeing this? When an entire days slots are “unknown listing” it will stop showing the channel in the table based guide. The guide switches from 14 channels to 11. The channel will come and go as you scan through the days.
