Server Version#:1.41.5.9522
Player Version#: don’t know
I have installed plex server on multiple setups in the past. I’ve removed all but the new setup i created.
Before today, i had two servers in the same web page. One went to my workstaion, second one is now on dedicated NUC. Removed/uninstalled from both.
Reinstalled only on NUC. It found the server name, and i’m starting to rebuild libraries. However, no remote access. Everything works on LAN.
Cable Modem forwards my IP Phone just fine, that’s been working for years.,
I’ve set the forwarding for 32400, NUC has static address, not in range of DHCP on CM.
the last time this worked, the NUC had successful remote access, but only the workstation server was seen. workstation server did not have remote access, nor port forwarding at the CM.
it’s like Plex tries some UUID that belongs to my workstation, no matter what my IP settings are. how do i reset what UUID plex tries to access?
i’m very tech savvy, i run a windows domain on my network. But all permissions inside are working fine, firewall is fine. droid phone accesses plex inside, but if i change to cell tower, server is offline
sorry, hadn’t gotten back
turned off firewall on the w11 box. now is accessible from the outside. will figure it out later
