I have my friends library on Plex and it has two different servers it seems. Ine is on top of the pinned column with a triangle error and that is an old server and I don’t know how to remove it. He also has a new server that shows up underneath that works find but have the one that doesn’t work make the loading act strange so I am trying to remove it but can’t see where to do that. I can remove a friend but I dont’ want to d that I want to remove the old server of the friend.
Has your friend Patrick removed the server itself from the list of authorized devices on their Plex account? Plex Media Servers get listed just like playback devices on a Plex account’s Authorized Devices list.
Hi, you will need to remove your access to the old server to not see it in your sidebar anymore:
- Go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access
- Click on your friend
- Under
You have access toselect the old server - Click on
Leave Server
