Unable to select most items from main menu

Player Version#:7.28.1

I just installed the plex Apple TV app only to discover that I cannot access anything other than search, home, music and settings from the left hand menu. Live TV, Movies ect are visible, but they cannot be highlighted/selected. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
