I have a HD Home Run Duo connected to my antenna— the DVR used to work and download my TV guide. Now when I try to set up a recording there are no programs. I uninstalled and reinstalled the DVR— but when i put in the postcode-- nothing happens— I see from July others have described this problem— is there a solution
What server version are you running?
its the latest available on google play for the nvidia shield 7.21.0.12323
just to add some more things I tried.
1)i got my laptop to work as a server (windows 10)— and the DVR installed fine— the nvidia, laptop, and hd home run duo are all on the same network/wifi
2) but when I tried to install the live tv/dvr on the nvidia (via the lapptop web connection) it got stuck on the zip code part (as others have described for the windows version - but now apparently fixed for windows). I have a usb drive connected to the nvidia for storage with the required nvidia_shield folder. The nvidia shield can see the laptop server (and its live tv/dvr)— but has no live tv/dvr line of its own.
3) you cannot uninstall the plex app on the nvidia— but i have uninstalled its updates, removed cache/data, turned off the nvidia, removed the usb drive, then reconnected the drive, re-updated plex etc, no dice
I have same problem. Suddenly HD homerun doesn’t work - with Live Channels shield reports “video is unexpectedly unavailable”, then screen goes blank. With Plex I somehow have 2 servers - nvidaPlex (which is offline and can’t be enabled) and SHIELD Android TV which is enabled. I removed the HD Homerun, and now I can’t get any option for Live TV. Where do we turn for support on this thing?
