Unable to share libraries

All of a sudden I am unable to share any libraries in my Plex server. When I go to a user and share library it just says “no libraries”.

I deleted all of my libraries and readded them. I also created a new managed user, but now change.

Next I uninstalled Plex from the server, and reinstalled, then re-created the libraries.

Plex is seing the media, and if I log on as king, it sees stuff fine.

any thoughts

thanks

I would remove your server from Settings>Devices then resign into it in Settings>General> Then re-enable Remote Access then try to share again

No luck Now I am getting

We were unable to retrieve libraries for media. Please ensure the server is signed in to your Plex account.

what is your server installed on? on that computer or NAS do you have Jumbo Frames (MTU over 1500) enabled?

I am assuming does show that you signed into Server>Settings>General successfully

I’m installed on ubuntu 15.04
Server->settings shows up to date and signed in
MTU is set at 1500

I suspect that Plex may be trying to use the wrong NIC. Is there a method to tell Plex to only use a particular IP address?

I’m not aware of a way to get it to use a different nic than the primary one. You should be able to look in the server logs to see which it is trying to use at least to verify

So I believe it was my vpn. Once I uninstalled the software I was able to share libraries again. I am not what changed, but that seemed to be the trigger
