Unable to signin on Windows (Unknown Error)

I get the following error when trying to click Sign in with browser or use username/password.

I have two internet connections to this computer, but only have one adapter active at a time.
When I initially installed/opened Plexamp, I was on my primary connection which is behind a corporate proxy, which allowed me to login, but could not find my server, so I switched to my unfiltered standard internet connection, but now it won’t even see the internet?

It’s almost like the app is remembering the initial adapter it was started with and refuses to use any other network now.
Does plexamp store data in directories other than
AppData/Local/Plexamp and AppData/Roaming/Plexamp ?

I have deleted those directories and reinstalled the app, but the exact same error persists.
I have switched to Wifi and used hotspot but still get the same Unknown Error.

Switching back to the original adapter (behind proxy) it will see the internet again and connect, but I can’t use this because as mentioned, it can’t see the server on this network.

Log attached.

Plexamp.log (9.4 KB)

Massive networking issue:

May 20, 2024 10:09:29.714 [0x00005b10] DEBUG - Networking: Completed request 1: (POST https://plex.tv/api/v2/pins?strong=true) with code -5 (have 0 bytes) in 139 ms.

The code is: CURLE_COULDNT_RESOLVE_PROXY (5) Could not resolve proxy. The given proxy host could not be resolved.

Never seen that before, but given that it occurs in the browser as well, likely not an app issue.

The network works fine for every other app, including regular Plex for Windows.

As mentioned, it is like plexamp is remembering the proxy settings used when the app was initially installed on the PC, hence the CURLE_COULDNT_RESOLVE_PROXY code.

Browser works fine and connects to Plex.tv and my own Plex instance fine.
Pressing the “Sign in with browser” causes the “Unknown Error” to appear.
The browser does not launch with the login url due to the error.

Bizarre.
