Even if one of my managed users, which originally was able to sync, deletes all of their synced items on my iPhone, another user is presented with the following message
another user has synced content on this device
I went into my server settings > sync with my main account, in the drop down listing I only see my iPhone and iPad and nothing in either of the sync list.
However, when I go into my other managed user account, the sync listing is filled with many duplicated entries for my iPhone and iPad. Note: I did check on my authorized devices and I only have one of each as well.
When I do through the first two listed devices (not the duplicates) the messaging says…
Nothing is synced to this device.
Oddly enough though when I go into the duplicates it says…
<device> was last seen a month ago. Syncing will resume next time you launch Plex on this device.
I recreated the managed user, which did obviously get rid of the duplicate entries (as there are no entries on a new account).
When I go to sync something directly from an item with this new user, there is no sync button (which seems to be the case on all other users other than the original account which synced in the first place). Going into the Downloads & Sync > Manage it gives me the exact same message noted at the top of this thread.
It almost seems that something in the database got corrupted/stuck over time. I will most likely go through the following later today…
I will also probably try deleting and re-adding the Plex app on my devices but in the meantime does anyone have any other suggestions and/or have seen this before?
Thanks
